How to

Losing something is really nerve-wracking and annoying. It always depends on the lost item, especially if it is something you need in a short time. When we find ourselves in an unwanted situation, we tent to act blindly and make quick decisions.

Here are the top five mistakes you should avoid if you find yourself in a similar situation.

  1. Being stressed. It’s okay to freak out about losing your wallet or phone, but that will not bring them back. Try to take a deep breath before searching.
  2. Narrow your search area. If your item is not in its place, expand your vision and your search area. I once searched for my cell phone and found it in the fridge after two hours! You never know.
  3. Act without thinking. We tend to lose our things especially when we are unfocused in our daily lives. Try to be aware of your actions so you do not leave your phone in the fridge like I did.
  4. You are not providing the right tools for someone to return your item. If you lose your keys, how will the person who finds them recognize you? By tagging your keys, you provide your email address and phone number so it’s easy for anyone to reach you.
  5. You do not use Find Owner Tag. You may be thinking, there are so many services out there, why Findowner Tag? Because this is about privacy, affordable prices, and making life easier. And I mean it.
